We aim to have prize giving prior to 4pm, so we all have time to head home if required.
Travelling 350km through roads you didn’t know were there. Stop to take photos and answer our wacky questions, all while having fun and raising money for a great cause.

What do you get for your ticket?
Entry to the Gumboot Run for as many people as you can legally fit in your vehicle

There is no food included in the one-day event. A cash bar will be available at the finish line.

After you buy your ticket
After you buy your ticket, you won’t hear from us until tickets close. We are busy behind the scenes making sure all our ducks are in a row and the i’s are dotted and t’s are crossed. When tickets close, we will email everyone with the next instructions, including the secret start line location and time.

The Run
Never done one of our events and not sure what to expect?
First of all, bring your sense of humour. Our cross-country scavenger hunt is all about a good time, and a lot of laughs will be had over the day. As for cars, it really doesn’t matter what you bring. We have had Ladas, Falcons, Chev trucks, Dodge Vipers, Escorts, Evos, WRXs and an assortment of BMWs, and people have even brought utes when their main car didn’t make the start.
No matter what you’re in, you’ll have fun. The run is about points, not speed. You get points by following the crazy and sometimes light-on-detail instructions that will guide you through the day. Take a funny photo, work out the sequence of the green letterboxes or find the hidden photos we took earlier. All in the name of fun and raising money for a great cause.
